BCC STEWARDSHIP PROGRAMS
Front range climbing stewards
Our professional trail building crew works with individuals and group volunteers to create sustainable access and staging areas at our most popular climbing areas.
Bolt Replacement
Our anchor replacement program helps keep Colorado climbing areas safe and accessible, from premier sport crags to classic alpine walls. We’ve replaced over 750 bolts.

waste management
Our ten "poop bag" stations and portapotties were placed at strategic locations to reduce climbers’ impact and keep tons of human waste out of fragile watersheds.
CLIMBING CLOSURES
Please respect closures! Throughout the year climbing areas are closed for many reasons, and staying away when land managers ask is important to preserve positive relationships.
